1982
A story of hoteliers, from the forties to today
It was 1948 when Luigi Mazzucato opened an inn with rooms in nearby Abano Terme, which over the years became the Rosa guesthouse and finally Hotel Rosa. Building on this family experience in the restaurant and hospitality sector, his son Giorgio, with great entrepreneurial vision, took over and renovated a building adjacent to the sixteenth-century walls of Padova and the university polyclinic in 1981. His goal was to create a non-seasonal accommodation facility that could be open 365 days a year.In 1982, Hotel Maritan officially opens,a facility that has never closed even for a day in over 40 years, becoming a reference point for hospitality in Padova.
Since 2007, the service has expanded: wellness at the center
Since 2007, a phase of great renewal opens at Hotel Maritan: Alessandro Mazzucato joins the company and under his guidance, all the rooms are cyclically renovated, with always modern furnishings and the best technology to make every stay comfortable. It is especially during these years that the transformation of Maritan into a SPA hotel has taken shape, with the creation of the Turkish bath and the heated jacuzzi.
